The Institute for Family Medicine supports physicians in their continuing education to become specialists in general medicine within the framework of the Continuing Education Network (WBV) of the University Hospital Bonn. The inpatient components of the training can be completed on a rotational basis in clinics at the UKB and affiliated teaching hospitals. The outpatient component is completed at the Institute's teaching physicians' practices, which are authorized to provide further training.
In addition to arranging continuing education positions, we also offer counseling, mentoring, accompanying seminars, and the opportunity to participate in research and teaching at the Institute for Family Medicine. Regular meetings also provide an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and experiences.
The aim of the continuing education network is to enable structured, continuous, and high-quality continuing education in general medicine.
