The interdisciplinary field of medicine of aging and the aging person (geriatrics) is a course for students in their fifth clinical semester. The team of lecturers from the fields of family medicine, orthopedics, geriatrics, neurology, and internal medicine teach the following topics:

- Geriatric traumatology
- The three D's: dementia, depression, delirium
- Gait disturbance/falls/frailty
