Our Junior Leadership Family Medicine program is aimed at all medical students with a particular interest in general medicine. We support you on your path to practicing medicine while you are still studying. We put you in touch with other students as well as patients and family doctors from different regions. Our motto is: Learning together and from each other!
We offer workshops and online seminars on five topics related to leadership:
• Self-Care: Exam Strategies, Time Management, and Leadership
• Patient-centered care: Encounters with members of self-help groups
• Practice management: Innovative practice concepts, organization, and finances
• Research and Innovation: Doctoral Program in General Medicine
• Continuing education in general medicine: Individual counseling and mentoring
There are two events per semester, one at the beginning and one in the middle, i.e. outside of exam periods.
The dates for the upcoming winter semester 2025/2026 are:
1st date: In-person workshop
October 29, 2025, at 5 p.m.
Teaching building of the University Hospital Bonn
2nd date: Online seminar
December 9, 2025, at 5 p.m.
Participation is possible throughout the entire course of study. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of successful participation.
