The seminar and lectures on occupational medicine are courses for students in their sixth clinical semester. In addition, excursions (company tours) accompanied by lecturers are offered at the beginning of the semester.
In the occupational medicine seminar, a team of specialists in occupational medicine and lecturers from the fields of general medicine and psychology cover the following topics:
- Legal basis
- Accidents at work and on the way to work
- Lung diseases from an occupational health perspective
- Ergonomics with occupational health management
- Skin diseases and cancer
- The special patient
- Mental stress and strain in the workplace
The lectures in occupational medicine cover the following key topics:

The excursion provides practical and direct insight into the tasks involved in occupational medicine and the complex field of occupational research. A team of occupational physicians accompanies the group of students (bus transfer from Bonn city center with return trip). Winter semester 2025/2026:
